Kelly Assam
Originally from Trinidad & Tobago, Kelly began playing in the Miami Pan Symphony at the age of 16.

In 2002, he was with the Adlib Steel Orchestra in New York, directed by Franklin Mayers.

Kelly has performed with the internationally-acclaimed National Panorama Champions Phase II Pan Grove Steel Orchestra, directed by Len 'Boogsie' Sharpe, based in Woodbrook, Port-of-Spain.

Recently, he has performed with members of the Coral Gables Opera, as he prepares for his first appearance in an American Ideal performance.

Kelly's father, Harry Milton 'Skip' Boardley was a lead vocalist for the dynamic R&B band, the Crown Heights Affair.
